Praja Palana Scheme 2024

Revanth Reddy initiated the Praja Palana Application Form process at the Secretariat on Wednesday, providing eligible individuals with the opportunity to avail themselves of the benefits outlined in the Congress’s Six Guarantees. He declared that applications would be accepted at grama/ward sabhas in every village, town, and city across the state from December 28 to January 6.

Revanth Reddy emphasized that, although specialty counters would be operational until January 6, the application procedure would persist, allowing individuals to submit their applications at designated government offices at a later date.

Except for the Yuva Vikasam guarantee, applicants can seek benefits under five schemes by using these forms. Additionally, the application process is open for new ration cards or any grievances raised by individuals.

Objective of Praja Palana Scheme

To ascertain the exact count of individuals eligible for various programs, the government implemented the Praja Palana initiative. This is instrumental in enabling the government to determine the number of beneficiaries and the corresponding financial requirements. A systematic procedure has been established for the digitization of complaints received at Praja Bhavan. This process entails assigning a unique docket number to each complaint and notifying the applicant through acknowledgment letters. Additionally, a tracking system has been implemented to monitor the progress of each application and the corresponding actions taken. Efforts are underway to address and resolve issues within a timeframe of a hundred days from the date of receipt.

Under the Praja Palana initiative, various benefits are provided to different segments of the population:

Praja Palana Documents Required

During the Praja Palana program, individuals have the opportunity to submit their application forms at specified locations in each district of Telangana. The application form, which serves as a unified application for the Mahalakshmi, Rythu Bharosa, Cheyutha, Griha Jyoti, and Indiramma Ilu schemes, requires applicants to provide details such as the head of the family’s name, date of birth, Aadhaar card number, and ration card number, among other necessary information. In addition to completing the application form, applicants are required to submit photocopies of their Aadhaar and white ration cards.

How to Fill Telangana Praja Palana Application Form 2024

There will be sufficient counters available to receive applications, with a dedicated counter for women. Each mandal will be divided into two sections, with an MPDO (Mandal Parishad Development Officer) overseeing the second section and an MRO (Mandal Revenue Officer) in charge of the first.

Every day, each officer will visit two communities. In villages with higher population densities, more counters will be open. Individuals unable to apply at the Grama Sabha can also submit their applications at Gram Panchayats. This process will continue beyond January 6, and people can still submit applications at MPDO or MRO locations after that date.

For those who prefer to file complaints through a different channel than the Praja Palana application form, dedicated counters will be available. Six hundred locations throughout the city have been designated as centers for accepting Praja Palana forms. Once the government officially launches the program, these sites will be updated. Government workers have been recruited to support the program, accepting application forms at the designated centers.
