Renewal of MYSY Scholarship
To maintain eligibility for the MYSY Scholarship renewal, students must attain a minimum of 50% marks in their most recent final examination, and their attendance should reach a minimum of 75% by the conclusion of the semester or academic year. Failure to meet these criteria will result in the student being ineligible to renew their scholarship under the MYSY Scholarship program.
Features and Benefits of MYSY Scholarship
Under the MYSY scholarship program, non-reserve students are eligible for financial support to purchase books and equipment. Students enrolled in Gujarat Medical Education Research Society and dental courses will receive a financial assistance of Rs 10 lakh over a span of 5 years.
For government jobs, there is a 5-year age relaxation granted to students across all categories. Those aspiring to participate in competitive exams will receive training at designated training centers. In regions where there is no higher education facility or government hostel, the government will extend assistance of Rs 1200 per month for 10 months.
Students who have achieved an 80% pass mark in both class 10th and 12th and have opted for diploma courses are entitled to Rs 25,000 per year or 50% of the fees, whichever is lower. Additionally, under the MYSY scholarship scheme, the government will provide free outfits, reading materials, and other necessary items.
Who Can Take Benefit Of MYSY Scholarship Scheme
examinations and aspiring to enroll in a diploma or bachelor’s degree program are eligible for admission.
Candidates with a diploma and a score exceeding 65% are welcome to apply for admission to bachelor’s degree programs.
Applicants with parents whose annual income does not exceed Rs 600,000 are eligible to apply.
Children of Shahid Jawan are also eligible for consideration in the admission process.
